Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over your data — especially your photos.

Who this is for

BetterFrame is for adults aged 18 and older. You may only upload photos of yourself.

What we collect

Your email address, your plan and payment status (processed by our payment provider — we never store full card details), the photos you upload, and your questionnaire answers.

How we use your photos

Your photos are used solely to prepare your personalized report.

We do not post your photos publicly. We do not sell or share them. We do not use your photos to train AI models without your explicit, separate consent.

Cookies and ad measurement

We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to make the site work, and to measure our advertising. When you arrive from an ad, we store the campaign details (e.g. utm_source, gclid, fbclid) so we can understand which campaigns are useful.

When advertising measurement is enabled, we use Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (the Facebook Pixel and Conversions API) to measure conversions and improve our ads. These tools may set cookies and receive a hashed (irreversible) version of your email and on-site events such as a completed purchase.

We show a cookie banner: non-essential measurement is off by default (Google Consent Mode is set to denied and the Meta Pixel is held) and turns on only if you accept. You can decline at any time, and you can also opt out through your browser settings and the platforms' own ad-settings controls.

Data retention and deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support. On request, we delete your uploaded photos and associated personal data.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live — including under the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and comparable laws in Canada and Australia — you have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data, and to object to or opt out of non-essential processing such as ad measurement.

A photo of your face is personal data (and, in some jurisdictions, sensitive data). We process it only with your consent, use it solely to produce your report, never use it to train models without your permission, and delete it on request.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@betterframe.app and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Security

Photos are stored in access-controlled storage and served only through private, tokenized links.
